A Bit About Me

Luke Jenner grew up in San Diego with a British bipolar suicidal art therapist mom and a PhD business professor semi pro surfer father. Obsessed with baseball and collecting things as a kid he went to his first DIY shows in high school. Quit the baseball team and borrowed a guitar from the kid who replaced him. Sometime in college as a philosophy major he dropped out and went on perpetual tour and became a professional cool guy as lead singer of the band The Rapture. His moms final successful suicide attempt in 2006, the birth of his son, and the death of his previous therapist George Kamen (from LCD “Someone Great” fame) caused a major reckoning in his life. After many world tours and Coachella visits he got sober in 2008 and invested heavily in 12 steps. After being in therapy with The Rapture for several years and enjoying a healthy marriage after a lot of work he began coaching people during the pandemic formally. His clients include artists and non artists. Famous and not famous. He also does marriage counseling and enjoys working with multiple people in the same family system. He has ambitions of doing life coaching for bands and the San Diego Padres.

Luke is the exception to the rule. After working traditional therapy for years, I thought I understood myself and was working towards what I wanted my life to look like. The day I met Luke I saw everything I wanted for myself and knew I had to get what he had. He’s changed my entire life in 2 years and I don’t know where I would be had I not met him. I saw myself in him that day and more importantly knew I was seen, not just bouncing my subconscious off of a therapist’s sterile walls. As an artist, I value being able to trust his experience and truth fully. I would like to share my life changing experience with Luke Jenner. My daughter had been seeking help from Luke. I love my daughter with every fiber of my heart and soul, but we didn’t get along. My daughter asked me to contact him. Being “old school” where you call your insurance and find someone, this was unfamiliar to me. You use Venmo and do a zoom session. Luke has worked with me and held my hand every step of the way. He gives me things to think about, allows me to grow towards setting boundaries, makes sure I take care of myself building a more confident self worth. I didn't believe in the idea of a life coach. It seemed like something people from the real housewives got to kill some time between juice cleanses. But I was having a really hard time and my friend told me to reach out to Luke because he changed her life. And she was someone who I admire, so I thought I'd try. I am so grateful I did, and that he was willing to work with me. Now I can say Luke has also changed my life. He has what I want... A deep serenity and appreciation for his life.. including both the good and the bad. He has wisdom and a level of self-actualization that seem almost unattainable because he has done the work himself. Done the work to figure out how to live through situations that seem too hard to figure out. So when I talk to him, he's nothing like the 10 psychiatrists who I quickly went through and seemed useless. He listens and then actually tells me what to do. And it works.
